Vietnam's Immigration Department announced that its electronic visa portal would operate through the official domains thithucdientu.gov.vn and evisa.gov.vn.
The change affects foreign travelers applying for or checking a Vietnamese electronic visa from outside Vietnam. Applicants should use the official portal rather than an intermediary site that is not clearly authorized.
Vietnam electronic visas can cover single or multiple entry for up to 90 days, subject to the visa issued and the traveler's passport and entry port. Travelers must still verify the latest eligible ports and application instructions before departure.
